I have worked in Toronto's private security industry for the past three years. From babysitting an outdoor art supplies tent on a chilly night to escorting celebs at the Junos, I have undertaken (just about) every imaginable role in the civilian security business. Currently, I am an event security team supervisor and close protection officer (bodyguard).

Do most of your clients want you to be conspicuous so that other people see you're protecting them, or do they want you in plainclothes and innocuous?

How do you fend off hecklers?

Is a hospital liable if a volunteer who works in a hospital gets attacked by a stranger following her or by a criminal who escapes from the Emergency Room and is trying to attack her? Does a hospital have liability insurance for volunteer workers?
